Gone but never forgotten, Richard "Dick" M. Beaverson, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 21. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his two loving daughters, and now joins his wife Virginia in death. Richard was born in Sapulpa, OK. He was a loving husband of more than sixty years, a devoted father and a kind friend. Richard served valiantly in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the D.E. USS Richard W. Suessens. He was a graduate of the American Institute of Baking in Chicago, and dedicated his entire private sector career in the industry. Richard is survived by his two daughters, Alinda Houser and Barbara Jordan, two grandsons Richard Lappin and Jeffrey Jordan, three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests on Friday, February 24, from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. The graveside service will be held Saturday, February 25, at 10AM at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
