She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Troy L. Schuler; two sisters, Dorothy Middleton and Beaulah Absher; one brother, Henry Barnes.

She was a member of Cavanaugh Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She loved to walk, make crafts and sing. In her younger years she loved riding horses. She was a great cook who loved cooking for her family.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Mallory-Martin Chapel.
