Dorothy was born June 22, 1917 in Salt Lake City to William Welte and Dolly Dolores Otto.
Dorothy met her sweetheart Jack Wilson Job at age fifteen and they were married on June 18, 1936.
Survived by four children: Janice (Ken), Patty (Larry), Vicki (Ray), and Jeff (Becky); twenty-four grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, three brothers Russell B., Richard K., and Raymond Welte, and daughters-in-law Loralee and Rita. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her eldest sons Dennis Rae and Jack Ronald, and great granddaughter Stephanie Marie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street. Friends and family may call on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
