Mary Palo was born June 14th 1932 in Marion County West Virginia. While orphaned in childhood, she was raised in Morganstown, West Virginia by her aunt Minnie Tichenor. Mom was a friend to all, a loving caregiver and fostered many children who were orphaned. She cared for the elderly and fought for the welfare of children and abused animals. She loved the Lord. She rose to position of President of W&W Manufacturing Co. Inc. where she worked for 50 years. She was instrumental in the development of several inventions that were patented as the world's first. She loved to garden and her cat Missy. Special thanks to the Johnson family, Al Braum, the nurses and staff of Southlake Methodist Hospital, and Vibra Hospital. She will be missed by all who knew her. We loved her endlessly.
Graveside service will be held Friday, February 24 at 1:00 PM at Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends and family may meet at the Funeral Chapel 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville at 12:30 PM for procession to the cemetery.
