Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Strauss was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Clayton to John and Hazel Boyd. She was a homemaker and cared for the elderly.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Keeth of Clayton; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two brothers, Loyd Boyd of Clayton and Dewey Boyd of Manitou Springs, Colo.
The family suggests memorials be to Union County General Hospital, 301 Harding St., Clayton, NM 88415.
