VENTIMIGLIA - Anthony M.,    87,    at rest  in Clifton, New Jersey.     On Sunday, December 20, 1998.     Beloved husband of the former Marguerite Selis.    Father of Barbara Vermiglio, a retired teacher; Eugene Ventimiglia, a teacher at  Passaic County Technical Institute and Anthony Ventimiglia, Jr., a family practice physician in Wayne, New Jersey.    He also leaves twelve grandchildren. Six great grandchildren. A sister Mary Nazzaro.
 
 
 Born in Paterson, New Jersey he moved to Clifton, New Jersey in 1960.
 
 Anthony M. Ventimiglia, a real estate agent and developer of homes in North New Jersey owned  Anthony Ventimiglia Real Estate and Insurance Company in Paterson, New Jersey  for more than 50 years.   He was also the past president of the Passaic County Board of Realtors and the first district vice president of the New Jersey Realtors Association.     He helped form the first multiple-listing service  in Passaic County, which also covered  Bergen, Morris, and Ocean  counties.     
 
 
 Mr. Ventimiglia became the  youngest magistrate of Passaic County in the 1930s,  serving as justice of the peace, and also taught at the Paterson Business College.   
 
 
 
At the time of his death, Mr. Ventimiglia and his wife owned one of the last remaining farms in Montville, New Jersey.
 
 
 Mr. Ventimiglia was a past president, founder, and fund-raiser for the Fedelians of America, a Passaic County based charitable organization working primarily with the handicapped.
 
 
 
He was a parishioner and communicate of  St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Clifton, New Jersey.   He was also a member and past president  of the Blessed Sacrament Holy Name Society, Paterson, New Jersey, the American Cancer Society and the United Way.
 
 
 
Festa Memorial Funeral home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, New Jersey was in charge of the arrangements with burial at the Calvary Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey.
 
 
 In lieu of flowers,  memorial donations to the Fidelians of America; Eva's Village or the Bishop Rodimer Community Center in Paterson were appreciated.
