Louis grew up in Arizona, he served in the South Pacific in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He then worked for the Arizona Public School District as a business administrator. His working responsibilities were connected with the Navajo Reservations in Chinle and Coolidge, Arizona.
Louis was a great father. His first wife had two sons before they were married, then they had four more sons. He was a great example and teacher for all of his six boys.
After he retired,he lived in Camp Verde before moving to Overton,Nevada in 1998. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his greatest joy came from his family.
