My great great grandfather David Daniel DUNMEYER, father of my great grandfather Willima Harrison DUNMEYER was a hard working uneducated simple man who loved his wife and children placing them 2nd only to God and Service to his Country during the War of the Rebellion.

A happy but serious man, he enjoyed life up until the end keeping busy evn with ailing health and limited mental capacity carving toys for his grandchildren. I thank our god for the gift of life my ancestors had make our lives today what it is. I salute my great great grandfather for his unselfishness, love, and labors as a lumber jack, woodsman, gunsmith, army soldier, wood cutter & widdler post civil war.
