Hector C Haight, 70, Business Aide, Dies
Hector C Haight, 70, regional director of the ReConstruction Finance Corp. during Workd War II, died Wednesday after a heart attack.
He was a former consultant to Hughes Aircraft Co. and in recent years was a private business consultatnt. He was a director of Western Airlines.
He was active in the banking and investment business prior to entering government service.
Mr Haight leaves his wife, Rhea, 176 S Orange Grave Dr.; two daughters, Marland Haight, New York City, and Mrs Elizabeth Eastman, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs Helen Gehrke, Wendell, Ida., and two brothers, David, Glasgow, Scotland, and Ludwig, Burley, Ida.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wilshire Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1209 S Manhattan Pl. Pierce Bros. Beverly Hills Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
