Christeen was born in Wyoming to John Lorimer Wilson & Cecelia Newton, both originally of Scotland. Her first name is spelled various ways on documents.

When she was twenty, she married John Henry 'Jack' Davies on 23 June 1915. The next few years she was a homemaker and they had two daughters, Margaret & Barbara and a son, Brent.

In 1920 they were living in Wyoming, however all the children were born in Utah. In 1930 they were living in the small mining town (now abandoned) of Latuda, in Carbon County, Utah. By 1935, they had moved to 218 N. Cedar St., Burbank, Los Angeles, California where Christeen would live the rest of her life.

In 1940, Christeen suffered through many months of gastroenteritis, and finally succumbed on September 19, 1940. She was buried on September 21st of the same year at the Glendale, California, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Jack was left a widower at just 48 years old and lived another quarter of a century without his beloved companion.
