Graduated U. of Southern California in 1892. Returned to China, as part of the North China Mission and served there for over 30 years and was a captive during the Boxer uprising.
Awarded by King Edward of England in 1901 the Decoration of the Royal Red Cross in recognition of her services at the International Hospital during the Siege of the Legations at Pekin.
She died in Los Angeles, CA 24 July 1956.
