Born November 16, 1887 to Peter and Anna (Kleps) Walters in Germany [from death cert]. Over the years other sources list her birth place as Poland and Prussia. Rose and her mother immigrated to the USA in 1894 and her father in 1891 [US Census, 1910], settling in Boston.
She married Eugene Clement Blodgett on Sept. 2, 1914 in Boston. They had their only child, Donald Eugene Blodgett, in 1915.
She died at the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA on August 29, 1963 at age 75. Her last residence was 1519 Spruce St, South Pasadena.
