George was the son of E.J. Morris and Anna (Shallcross) Biles of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Louise Weissinger in June 1915 at Patterson, New Jersey (Louise passed away in November 1953). George worked with a battery manufacturer in eastern Pennsylvania for many years prior to his move to California. George married Lillian Mathilda Halvorsen after his move to California.
