A Northridge woman died of injuries received when she fell in her apartment, police reported.
Barbara Arries, 52, of 18551 Prairie St., telephoned the Northridge Receiving Hospital Friday at 9:45 p.m. and reportedly told the nurse she had fallen and was bleeding.
A rescue ambulance was called and took her to the hospital where she was admitted at 10:10 p.m.
She died at 11:15 p.m. from a massive hemorrhage resulting from her fall, authorities said.
