He was a Christian, a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and VFW, and a graduate of Glenville State College. He was a member of Canvas Ruritan Club and a retired regional manager from Quaker Oats Co., Cincinnati, with 35 years' service.
Surviving: daughters, Marilyn J. Rodgers of Muncie, Ind., Barbara A. Fisher of Elkview, Linda M. Perrault of Middletown, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Downtain Chapel United Methodist Church, Nettie, with the Rev. Allen Karnes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
