Mr. and Mrs. George Ginther, Russell observed their Golden Wedding Anniversary......children named.....The couple was married in the Methodist parsonage in Russell by Rev. J.E. Wilson, Feb 14, 1917. They now lived seven miles north of Gorham on a portion of the original L.J. Ginther landholdings, in the family since 1878.

GORHAM -- George G. Ginther, 77, died Thursday at Hadley Regional Medical Center, Hays, after a long illness. Born Dec. 20, 1894, at Gorham, he married Ethel Campbell Feb. 14, 1917, at Russell.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell.
Survivors include the widow; son: Glenn, Hays; daughters: Mrs. Leon Radke, Lakeside, Calif.; Mrs. Guifford Moore, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Mrs. Faye Ann Pittman, Hays; sister: Mrs. George Ruff, Russell; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the church; Rev. Albert Rymph officiating. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery. Friends may call until noon Monday at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.(Furnished by contributor #4717598)
