Mr. Bowser was crushed by the rear drivers of an engine, and was instantly killed. He was one of the best known and liked employees at the shops and had been residing on Madison avenue, Mahoningtown, for some time.
He was born in Mosgrove, Armstrong county, but lived in this city for 25 years. He was 53 years of age. Surviving him are his mother in Mosgrove, four brothers, Templeton Bowser, of Salem; James, of Savannah, Ga.; Harvey, of Mosgrove; and Macklin, of Renfrew; also two sisters, Mrs. A.S. Schrecengost, and Miss Sara Bowser, of Kittanning; two daughters, Mrs. G.C. Kenworthy, of Toledo, O., and Mrs. H.O. Wolcott of Oil City, and one son, Leroy M. Bowser, of this city.
