Catherine is survived by three sons, two daughters, fourteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, and three sisters.

Catherine M. Bennett, 105, of Somerset, Ohio, died at 12:05 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Autumn Healthcare of Somerset.
Catherine was born January 26, 1907 in Somerset, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Overmyer Gallin.
She was a lifelong resident of Somerset, and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting china and making pies and fudge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Bennett (March 15, 1996); one grandson; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset, where Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Stephen Carmody as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
