Survived by her husband, W. J. Hughes, Baton Rouge; a brother, Woodrow Day, Crosby, Miss., two sisters, M.E. McDaniels, Crosby, and Mae Bradley, Woodville, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Crosby Baptist Church.
