Passed away at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyside Rest Home after a brief illness . Age 96 years. He was born May 4, 1858 at Andover, New York, and moved to Saginaw in 1868. On Dec. 10, 1881, he married Cora Frances Partridge here. She passed away Nov. 28, 1951. The deceased was a member of the Salina Lodge No. 155, F.&A.M. since 1914 and recently was given a life membership. Surviving are four sons, Burt F. Martindale, Detroit; Charles C., William A., and Paul J. Martindale, all of Saginaw; eightenn grandchildren; twentytwo great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Reitz Funeral Home. Rev. S. M. Wallace will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Graveside service will be under the auspices of Salina odge No. 155, F&A.M. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
