Mr. Burns, 52, died June 12, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Brookhaven on June 25, 1952, to Quitman Burns and Ruby Britt Burns of Wesson.
He worked in the oil field with Entergy Drilling Company.
Survivors are his parents; his daughters, Susie Burns Gandenberger of Hazlehurst, and Ashley Burns of Wesson; his son, Jody Quitman Burns of Hazlehurst; his brother, Willie Earl Burns of Wesson; and three grandchildren
