Brian Keith Morrison, 48, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Gordon Hospice House. He was born June 16, 1963 in Iredell County to the late Richard Morrison Geraldine Davidson McCrary, who survives.
He attended Iredell County Schools and was married in May 2008 to Lisa Ann-Garrison Morrison in May of 2008. He was employed at P.S. West Construction and enjoyed fishing, Nascar, football, and swimming.
In addition to his mother and wife, Mr. Morrison is also survived by two sons, Bryan Morrison (Leeann), of Troutman, NC, Michael Morrison (Alicia), of Mooresville, NC, one daughter Brandy Morrison (Erek), of Troutman, NC. He is further survived by three grandsons Caleb McCubbin, Cooper Morrison, both of Troutman, NC and Braxton Morrison, of Mooresville, NC, and one granddaughter Kara Morrison of Troutman, NC. He is also survived by one special nephew Austin Garrison, of Statesville, NC and three uncles Benny McCrary, Glen Allen McCrary, and Jimmy McCrary all of Statesville, NC along with lots of special friends and family members.
A funeral service for Mr. Morrison will be conducted 5:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Mauney officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to funeral services at Nicholson Funeral Home.
