Annie loved her family with a passion. She treasured her relationships with all her family members from the oldest to the youngest. She was always there for family and friends needing help of any kind. Annie loved to cook and took special joy in cooking breakfast for her grandchildren no matter what time they woke up. Annie also loved flowers and working in her yard. She always made sure that her yard was mowed and everything was trimmed and neat.

Annie began working at Henkel Square in 1971 and continued there until December of 2010 when Henkel Square was sold. She loved meeting and talking to all the visitors telling them stories about Round Top. Many repeat customers came back for ice cream cones and to say hello each year during the antique fair.

Annie is survived by her son, Randal Banik and significant other Minal Shah of Austin, a daughter and son in law Becky and Gary Zwernemann of Deanville, grandchildren Heather and Jeremy Taylor and Chad and Krista Zwernemann of Caldwell, great grandchildren Alaric, Harlee, Bree, and Jaelyn Taylor and Kinsley Zwernemann, sister in laws Evelyn Fricke and Vera Fricke of Round Top and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Valerie Banik.
