Obituary from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle - August 4, 1899

The remains of Zimri Paris, a builder and contractor who was injured by a trolley car Sunday night and Tuesday, were sent to Indiana for internment today. Mr. Zimri lived at Flatbush Avenue and Avenue J, and while crossing the Flatbush Avenue tracks in front of his home was struck and seriously injured by a trolley car. He was removed to his home, unconscious, where he died two days later. He was 38 years of age and came to invest quite extensively in Vanderveer Park property, where he had a number of modern villas in course of erection. Two children survive.
