Gary Taylor Boone, 46, of West Lafayette, was killed at 8:45 AM Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1985, in an auto accident two miles east of Gilman, IL. Born Jan. 27, 1939, at St. Louis, MO, he lived in Flushing, NY, before coming to the Lafayette area 30 years ago. He married Grace Pauline Golden on June 2, 1961, in Lafayette; she survives.

Mr. Boone had been a software salesman for Petroleum Jobbers Data Control since February. He formerly was with Northwestern Mutual Insurance for 12 years, and prior to that he worked for State Farm Insurance in West Lafayette. He was a member of West Side Bible Fellowship Church.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Mickey Boone of Cincinnati, OH; two daughters, Vicki Suzanne and Debra Jo Boone, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Mildred K. Boone of West Lafayette; and a brother, Daniel Boone of Pasadena, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, C. Marion Boone in June 1982.
