Bradley-White, Tracey
After a heroic 10 year battle with breast cancer, Tracey went home to her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2012, at the age of 37 years. Tracey is survived by her husband Derrick; her two children, Drew and Avery; her parents, Douglas and Synthia Bradley; sister, Tristen; in-laws, Jamie (Christine) White and Erin (Latese) White, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tracey was born and raised in Jackson graduating from Jackson High School in 1993, and Michigan State University in 1998. Tracey pursued her lifelong dream of teaching and taught kindergarten and 3rd grade at Ezra Eby Elementary until 2004, enriching the lives of hundreds of school children. She was a devoted Christian and life long member of Cornerstone Christian Church, where she served as a praise team leader for many years. She also enjoyed her time with the Community Bible Study women's fellowship as well as serving as a member in the Emmaus Community strengthening her unwavering faith in God. Tracey was an active member of the American Cancer Society, serving as the captain of "Team Tracey" in the Relay for Life for the past 10 years. Her family would like to thank all those who have sent gifts, cards, or who offered kind words or a simple prayer over the years. We would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Max Wicha, M.D. and his staff at the U of M Cancer Center, who have guided Tracey through her treatment over the past decade, as well as Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Tracey was never without a smile, and her only concern was always the happiness and comfort of others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and will be forever remembered. A celebration of her life will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church Wednesday, February 22, at 11:00 A.M., Michael D. Mason officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Christian Church, 2395 West High Street, Jackson, MI 49203, or Noah's Arkademy Christian Pre School, 200 South Sandstone Road, Jackson MI 49201.
