Pearl Gladys, daughter of Martin and Julia Danielson, was born at Mission, Illinois, September 14, 1889; died near Lamoni, Iowa, February 5, 1923, being at the time of death aged 33 years, 4 months and 22 days.
During her early childhood she came with her parents to Lamoni, where she has resided continuously since.
She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints April 29, 1899, remaining faithful to her covenant to the time of her death.
March 25, 1913, she was married to Leander G. Kelley. To this union were born four children, Doras, William Lee, Ardith and Mariam, in addition to the babe who is being laid to rest with the mother.
In addition to her immediate family, she leaves her mother, one brother, one sister and a host of relatives and friends.
Pearl was a true companion and mother and her passing comes as a blow to her family and a shock to the entire community.
Funeral services from the Brick Church Thursday, in charge W.E. Prall, sermon by C.E. Wight.
