Zelma R. Banning was born March 28, 1922, in Shelby County; a daughter of John R. and Jennie Fought Perry. She married Burt L. Banning May 10, 1941.
Surviving are a sister, Martha E. Butler and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by jer parnts; her husband Jan.16, 1993; son, Roger E. Banning; brothers, Fred (Irene) Perry, Lester (Edna) Perry, Orie (Martha) Perry, Floyd (Katherine) Perry, David (Mildred) Perry, and Johnny Perry; sisters, Pearl (Chester) Hagan; Stella (David) Woodall; brother-in-law, Emory 'Pete' Butler; nephew, Ron Hagan, Sr and a niece, Ruby Eldridge.
