Mary Blair is the daughter of Martha Beattie and Edward Irwin. She was born in New York City in 1877. She married Neil Blair on 10 Sep 1897. Neil was born in Scotland in 1870, the son of John Blair and Euphemia Walker. He emigrated to the United States in 1891. Neil and Mary had two sons, Edward (b. 1899) and Angus (b. 1901). Mary died on 9 Jul 1903 in New York (New York Death Index) from Malignant endocarditis and was buried in Machpelah Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
