Iva Jane Cook died December 15, 1997, at Enterprise Estates Nursing Home. Mrs. Cook was born Iva Jane VanDeventer on October 23, 1901, north of Abilene and was a resident of the Detroit area before moving to Enterprise, where she lived most of her life.
She was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollo, in 1947; a son, Max Edward; and a daughter, Mary Louise Taylor. Survivors included a son, R.W.; a sister, Opal Chatam; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
