Edwin B. "Ted" Clement, 67, of Tuscumbia died Thursday, March 5, 1992, at his home. He was born March 19, 1924, in Fowler, Kan., to Neill and Esther Bishop Clement. On Sept. 15, 1944, he was married in Van Buren, Ark., to Juanita Pendleton, who survives at the home.

Mr. Clement lived in Iberia from the mid-1950s until moving to Tuscumbia in 1969. He was a retired contract truck driver. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Iberia Masonic Lodge 410, AF & AM.

Surviving , in addition to his wife, are three sons, Ron Clement of Eldon, Mark Clement of Tuscumbia and Rick Clement of Columbia; two daughters, Edwina Slone of Tuscumbia and Teddy Sue Allen of Eldon; a sister, Alma Adams of Yakima, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Gene Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Tuscumbia. Masonic services were held at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
