Michael W. SHERIDAN, 47, died suddenly at 3 p.m. Thursday in a downtown Kewanna business store. He had been in failing health the past two years. Born June 15, 1901, north of Kewanna, he was the son of Daniel and Cora (SCHIRM) [SHERIDAN]. A farmer he was married to Lorena STARR May 26, 1935, and was a member of he IOOF there. Survivors include his wife, one son, Billy [SHERIDAN]; his father, Daniel SHERIDAN; and a sister, Mrs. Mary MILLER. All are from Kewanna. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the Harrison Funeral home there. The Rev. Henry BULGER will officiate and burial will be in the [Kewanna] IOOF cemetery. The body will be returned to the Sheridan residence, one mile north of Kewanna, on road 17, this afternoon and taken back to the funeral home at 11 a.m. Sunday.
