County Native Dies In Florida
W. Russell Hedrick, a native of Pittsylvania County, died Saturday evening in Dunedin, Fla.
He was born Jan. 23, 1889, a son of the late W. H. and Emma Williams Hedrick. He was affiliated with Hedrick Architectural & Engineering Co. of Fort Worth, Tex., until his retirement. He married the former Mary James of Lanett, Ala.
In addition to his wife of the home, 48 Milwaukee Ave., Dunelin, he is survived by one son, Brig. Gen. Walter R. Hedrick (ret.), now corperate vice-president of Hek Corporation of Lexington, Mass.; one brother, J. Richard Hedrick of
Lanett; two sisters, Mrs. Clark A. Hodges of Museville and Mrs. John O. Bennett of Danville; one nephew, Clark Hodges, Jr., and two nieces, Mrs. Verlie Toler and Mrs. Billy B. Dallas, all of Danville.
The graveside rites will take place tomorrow afternoon in Dunedin.
