Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Roberts Kilpatrick, age 90 of Dubach, LA will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was born July 8, 1919 and died June 20, 2010 in Ruston. She was a homemaker who is remembered by her family for her cooking. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Bingo. Mrs. Kilpatrick was a member of First Baptist Church in Dubach.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Grady W. Bennett and C.L. Kilpatrick.
Mrs. Kilpatrick is survived by her son: Ray Bennett and wife Virginia of Calhoun, LA; her daughters: Deloris and husband Richard Fontenot of Dallas, TX and Mary Frances and husband Erik Stoer of Freeport, FL; five grandchildren: Michael Bennett and wife Dawn, Amy and husband Donnie Williams, Greg Fontenot, Stephanie and husband Eric Chandler and Jennifer and husband Nathan Pierpoint; 11 great grandchildren; one special niece Kathy Edwards as well as other nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bennett, Joel Bennett, Luke Bennett, Greg Fontenot, Donnie Williams and Charlie Edwards.
