It was in his house located at 1101 E. Michigan Avenue in Albion, in December, 1912 that Rev. George Bennard wrote the hymn "The Old Rugged Cross," where Rev. Bennard was renting an apartment. Fraternal twin brother of DeWitt C. Fall (buried at Woodland Cem, Jackson, MI)
