He leaves his wife, Rachel Jeffers Carnahan; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Huff Carnahan of Douglass, Kansas; two brothers, Jerome Carnahan of Douglass and George Carnahan o Wichita, Kan.; a nephew and 3 nieces. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hartford; Kearsarge Lodge, No. 217, IOOF and Fraternal Encampment, No. 67, West Lynn, Mass. He was a graduate of Kansas State College in 1905. The funeral will be private with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home of Taylor and Modeen, 233 Washington Street, until Tuesday morning.

Carnahan who has been and engineer and steam turbine tester at the river works of the General Electric Company, Lynn, has resigned and will go to Gilbert, Minn., where he will become instructor of science and mathematics in the high school of that place. He is a graduate of Kansas State Agricultural College and has been an instructor in the educational courses in Lynn for the past few years.
