JARRELL, William Clark, 86, of Tullahoma, a former Tullahoma police chief, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, in Tullahoma. A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Robert T. and Nora Worley Jarrell. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was retired from Arnold Center, where he was a security guard shift supervisor. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He Is survived by his wife, Leora Thaxton Jarrell, Tullahoma; one daughter, Betty Sue Davis, Springfield, Mo.; three sons, Don Jarrell, Smyrna; Max Jarrell, Alexandria, Va., and Steve Jarrell, Chattanooga; two sisters, Mozelle Spain, Nashville, and Catherine Kirby, Canton., Ga,; two Bothers, R.T. Jarrell, " Dunlap, and James Carroll Jarrell, Manchester; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996, at Tullahoma Funeral Home with burial In Bascom Cemetery, Warren County. Tullahoma Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements.
