Mrs. Stenshoel passed away at Crookston, where she had been making her home, on Monday, June 16th.
Deceased was born in Norway July 17th, 1835. As a young girl of 18 years she came to Koshkonong Prairie, Wis., and three years later to Fillmore county. Here she was married to Lars Stenshoel, and the couple made their home in Amherst township. Twenty-nine years ago the husband passed away. For several years the late Mrs. Stenshoel was a resident of Lanesboro, and she was honored and respected by all who knew her. She is survived by the three sons already mentioned.
Christine's parents were Niels Johansen and Helene Olsdatter.
