OBITUARY
Samuel C. Adamson, was born in Brown County, Ohio, Jan. 28th 1860, and died at his home in Fullerton, Nebr., June 17th 1912, aged 52 years, 4 mo and 29 days.
The deceased spent his early years in Ohio, moving to Atchison Co., Mo., in 1880 and on Jan. 29 1880 [sic] was married to Miss M.A. Wallace. To this union ten children were born, seven of whom are living, 5 boys and 2 girls. Also two grand children.
Mr. Adamson lived ten years in Mo. then with his family moved to Nance County where he has since lived. The greater part of time on a farm, but for the past 6 months in Fullerton.
The deceased was converted when 16 years of age and united with the Christian church, Brown Co in Ohio, but on coming to the North Star neighborhood a few years ago he united with the United Evangelical church where he continued a faithful member until death. Ever of a cheerful disposition, ready to share sunshine but not his sorrow with others. The suffering he bore as much as possible in silence.
This hope in Christ was his strong comfort and in the midst of suffering, even unto death, it was his enduring joy, he died a Christian.
Besides many friends, there is the wife, family, three sisters and three brothers, one of whom, Dr. Oscar Adamson of Sardis, Ky., was at the bedside, and his mother in law, Rev. Mrs. Wallace, of Rock Port, Mo are left to mourn the loss of their beloved friend and beloved relative. The funeral was held from the United Evangelical church conducted by Rev. I McBride of North Star, assisted by Rev. Lohr, and Stimpson of Fullerton.
The body was laid to rest in the Fullerton cemetery.
