Robert s. Himmelberger, 58, of 820 Walnut St., died in the Reading Hospital.
Born in Berks County, a son of the late Frank P. and Emaline (Spatz) Himmelberger, he had been employed at the Modern Iron Works.
Himmelberger was a member of the United Church of Christ, and of the Veteran Volunteer Firemen's Assn, Foresters' Hall Assn, Bavarian Volkfest Assn., and the Reading Hose Co.
Surviving are his widow, Carrie A. (Wolfe) Himmelberger, a daughter, two brothers: Lester, of Kenhorst, and George, of Reading.
Three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Hester and Ruth, widow of James Connor, both of Reading, and Mrs. Evelyn Auchenbach, Erie.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Gibson & Sanders Funeral Home, the Rev. G. Richard Ott, officiating. Burial will be made in Laureldale Cemetery.
