Born April 22, 1921 in Derry Township, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Shea and Laura (Hoverocker) Shea.
Her husband, Roland Harper, preceded her in death in 1966.
She is survived by a son, Donald L. Harper, Lewistown; three daughters, Phyllis Reese, Carlisle; Norma Dobson, McClure; and Betty Lou Harper, Carlisle; three sisters, Mae Stine, Lewistown; Mary Elliot, Lewistown; Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Musselman, Reedsville; 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randall L. Harper, and a brother, Raymond Shea.
She was secretary for the PA Department of Health in Carlisle and Lewistown, and she was later employed as a secretary for the Lewistown Police Department.
She was a member of Pine Glen Church of the Brethren.
A viewing will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St. Lewistown. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Peters officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
