Debbie was born June 9, 1958 in Indianapolis to the late Rev. Carlis B. and Lola (Kiser) Wilson. She attended Noblesville High School from 1972-1974 and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1976 where she was a Future Business Leader of America. She also was the winner of the Church of God Indiana State Teen Talent as part of a trio that went to national contest in Dallas, TX. After high school she attended Indiana Central, Cleveland State Community College, and IUPUI of Kokomo. She worked at various financial institutions including Raffensberger Hughes, Anderson Banking Company, and Merchants Bank in Cleveland, TN. She spent the last 19 years at Charles Schwab Company, Inc. where she was the leader of Schwab Operation Write Home and coordinator for Schwab Habitat for Humanity Build. She won several awards including: Excellence in Service presented in San Francisco, CA, where she met Charles Schwab, Chairman's Club (won numerous years), and FERRST Award. She was a member of the Daleville Christian Church where she served on the praise team, Evangelism Chair, and assisted in Youth Leadership. She was a member of Business and Professional Women and Jaycees. She was an avid scrap booker who made many wedding, retirement, baby, and other memory albums for her family, coworkers, and friends. She loved dogs, music, and flowers. She loved to work in her yard and neighborhood entrance growing perennials, with her favorites being Bleeding Hearts and Daisies.

A funeral service to celebrate Debbie's life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home at 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie, with Pastors Jerry Ballard and Gary Manus officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and also one hour prior to services on Tuesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
