Mrs. Nellie Mack, 97, Lake Ci-
ty, died at the Lake City Nursing
Home May 19, 1990.
Mrs. Mack, the former Nellie
Strachan was born March 15, 1893,
in St. Charles, to Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Strachan. She was married
to Earl Mack and he preceded her
in death in 1930. She graduated
from Winona Normal and taught
school until her marriage.
Survivors include one son, Ken-
neth, Muskegon, Mich.; four
daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Borseth of
Decorah, Iowa, Mrs. Margaret
Lundstrom of Milwaukee, Mrs.
Bernard (Colleen) Stiever of
Winona and Mrs. Bernard (Lau-
rine) Roozen of Lake City; 15
grandchildren; 25 great-grandchil-
dren. She Was preceded in death by
her husband, one brother and two
sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1
p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Chapel
in Winona with Father Paul Nelson
officiating. Burial was in Wood-
lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steven and Scott
Roozen, Paul, Mark and Bill Stiever
and John Lundstrom.
The Peterson-Sheehan Funeral
Home was in charge of arrange-
