ALBANY — Edna Ethell Regan, 66, of Albany, Ga., died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany. The Rev. Kevin Johnson will officiate and interment will follow at Deep Bottom Cemetery, in Norman Park, at 4 p.m.

She was born June 13, 1945, in Colquitt County, to the late Jesse Purvis and Edna Carver Purvis. She worked for many years as a waitress at Mama Jean's and Aunt Fannies. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, her family remembered of her. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Manning Purvis and Jesse Purvis Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Stewart and wife, Kim of Leesburg, Ga., Shane Regan and wife, Tanya of Albany, Ga., and Cain Regan and wife, Lucretia of Sylvester, Ga.; daughter, Nora Hope Runyon and husband, James of Hudson, Fla.; brothers, Daniel Purvis of Baconton, Ga., Robert Hitt of Sylvester, Ga., and Buddy Purvis of Albany, Ga.; sisters, Jeanette Moore and Dorothy Thompson, both of Norman Park, Linda Sands of Doerun and Shirley Davis of Albany, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on today, Feb. 17, from 7 until 9 p.m., at Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany.
