FALL PROVES FATAL TO AGED KIRKLAND WOMAN
Mrs Lois Kingsbury Lucas, mother of Fred Beckman of this city and a pioneer resident of Kirkland, died on Thursday morning at 12:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs William Thorne at Kirkland, from the effects of a fall about six months ago when she fractured her hip.
Deceased was born February 1, 1848, and her entire life had been passed in Kirkland. She was the widow of Eber Lucas. Funeral services were held from the home of her daughter in Kirkland on Friday at 1:30 o'clock and interment was made in Charter Oak cemetery.
