Benjamin Lafayette Farnsworth, 87, died at his residence, Thursday, 11 a.m.. Born Oct. 28, 1870, Pleasant Grove, to Austin M. and Dorcas Terry Farnsworth. Married Delphia Lutz, May 7, 1891, Moab. She died Dec. 4, 1910. Married Alice White Dec. 18, 1918, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Sept. 11, 1955. Farmer in Richfield, Moab, Cache county and Wyoming; high priest; Highland Park Ward. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors are four sons, two daughters; Delbert A., Earl L., Sacramento, Calif.;Alma W., Inglewood, Calif.;Thad T., Mrs. Letha F. Felsted, Mrs. Lydia F. Fisher, Salt Lake City; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday noon, 124-4th East, where friends call Sunday 7 to 9 p.m., Monday prior. Burial Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Utahn Found Dead

Benjamin Lafayette Farnsworth, 86, 150 N. Main, was found dead in his apartment residence Thursday shortly after noon. Police said death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
