Ruby M. Baxter, 84, LaBelle Manor, LaBelle, Mo., formerly of Knox City, Mo., died Sunday, February 8, 2004. She was born November 10, 1919, on a farm north of Knox City, Mo., the daughter of William Arment and Lizzie Morrison Arment. She married Harold "Corky" Baxter on April 10, 1937, Edina, Mo. Mrs. Baxter attended Deer Ridge School and was a member of the Knox City Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Betty Huebotter and husband Gene, Karen Lasswell and husband Jim, LaBelle, Mo., Sharon Leslie and husband San, Jo Baxter, Quincy, Ill., Rita Bozarth and husband Bill, Knox City, Mo., Marilyn "Pete" Simmons and husband Doug, Knox City, Mo.
