Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Oxford (Sarah's son in Madison, FL) were called to Ocilla, GA Saturday morning by the death of Mr. Oxford’s mother, Mrs. Sarah Minor Oxford who passed away Saturday morning, May 20, at her home, following an extended illness. She was 86 years of age. Funeral services were held in Ocilla, Monday afternoon and interment was there. Survivors are four sons, all of Florida. H. D. Oxford, of Madison, H. E., T. J., and L. D., of Lakeland, and two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Meeks, of Ocilla, and Mrs. Jordan, of Fitzgerald. - Madison (FL)
