Mrs. Helen Deterline Louck. 86, a former resident of Keithsburg and Rock Island, died Monday morning at 7:00 in Mercer County Hospital, Aledo, where she had been a patient for the past week. She recently had made her home at Fortner Sheltered Care Home in Aledo.
The former Helen Deterline was born in Keithsburg, June 28, 1891. A daughter of Elmer E. and Sarah Sophie (Jenne)Deterline. She received her education in the Keithsburg schools and in 1915, married Frank E. Louck of Keithsburg. They spent their entire married life in Keithsburg. Mr. louck died in February 1958.
Survivors includ a son, Philip D. Louck of Rock island, daughters Mrs. Marilyn Baldridge of Savanah, Mrs. Lois Taylor of Milan, Mrs. Betty Krusmark of Keithsburg. One daughter, Audrey Jean "Louck" Young died in 1955. There are 13 grandchildren and 17 great grand children.
The body was taken to the Olin Funeral Home in Keithsburg, where visitation was held on Tuesday.
Funeral services were held this afternoon, Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Olin Funeral Home. The Rev David Eadie, minister of the United methodist Church in Joy, officiated. Burial was made in Greenmound Cemetery.
