Joel Marshall Mangum 38, of Rocky Mount went home to heaven Sunday September 4, 2011. He was born October 5, 1972, in Nash County, son of Patsy Land Mangum and the late Julian Mangum. He Graduated from Northern Nash High School and UNC Wilmington.
He is survived by his Mother Patsy Land Mangum, two sister's Debra Coggins and husband Tim of Cary, and Genia Mangum Herbert of Raleigh: four nephews, Cam Herbert, Brandon, Mark and Daniel Coggins, one niece Kaye Herbert.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery of Spring Hope at 11:00 AM Friday September 9, 2011with the Rev. Gene Brooks officiating
